“These Streets” is a great reggae love song. This reggae song unfolds as a great story beautifully sung by Tanya Stephens. It’s about a gansta who’s too busy hustling on the streets to the point of neglecting his woman. The groove fits the message perfectly making it a reggae song with a great feel to it.
From the opening you just can’t help but listen to the touching lyrics and feel empathy for the poor woman’s situation. Tanya Stephens’ great voice combined with the excellent reggae production makes this one of my favorite reggae songs of late. It’s on high rotation in my ipod for sure.
